Hello, გამარჯობა, բարև, salam!

Welcome to one of the few places in the world where you can learn Georgian, Armenian, and Azerbaijani languages.

We create Cultural and Language Center specialising in languages from the South Caucasus. We utilize modern teaching methods and adapt them to the specific needs of Armenian, Azerbaijani, and Georgian.

Our team includes both native speakers of these languages and those who learned these languages as adults and understand the potential challenges adults face when learning them.

What do we do?

Języki Kaukazu (Languags of the Caucasus) was created in 2014 as a Polish blog with short and simple lessons about these languages. Asia, the founder of Języki Kaukazu, was already teaching Georgian in language schools and wanted to create a place where short lessons in these three languages of the South Caucasus would be available, presented in a concise, accessible way.

Currently, at Języki Kaukazu - Languages of the Caucasus, we not only offer online courses but also publish our own textbooks and self-study courses (with asynchronious teacher support). The first e-books and courses for Georgian are already waiting for you, and we have plans to publish those for Armenian and Azerbaijani.

We also publish the the Caucasus podcast , one of the few podcasts fully dedicated to this region. We are partners and speakers at numerous events promoting the region.

Meet our team

Hi, it’s Asia!

I have been teaching Georgian for over 10 years, and I have been working on the Caucasus for over 16 years. Learning Georgian is not only my profession but also my passion. I lead also ”The Caucasus Podcast”, which is our podcast about Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and a little bit of the Northern Caucasus, in which we introduce you to this region.

I have written well over 30 articles and publications, including scientific ones, on Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan and spoke and taught about this region at top Polish universities and commented Caucasian reality for leading Polish media.

I am also a graduate of the Polish-Georgian School of Literary Translation – the first edition of Słowa na Słowa (here you will find the story I translated to Polish When Zhora Falls Asleep) and the master school (publication will be coming soon).

- Języki Kaukazu

I know 7 languages, I have learned a total of 14, and I can read in 5 alphabets. In my work as a Georgian teacher, I use over 10 years of experience as a trainer, business coach and mentor. I have spent over 1,000 hours conducting workshops, training and individual and group sessions. And I translate all these modern teaching methods into our learning of the Georgian language and our materials for learning Georgian.
