Hello, გამარჯობა, բարև, salam!

Welcome to one of the few places in the world where you can learn Georgian, Armenian, and Azerbaijani languages.

We are a Cultural and Language Center specializing in the South Caucasus. We know that Caucasian languages can seem difficult to master, and the limited market for learning materials makes it even more challenging.

That's why we created Języki Kaukazu (which means Languages of the Caucasus) – a place where you can find textbooks and courses based on simple and effective ways to master Georgian, Armenian, and Azerbaijani. Available to you wherever you are. From the alphabet to fluency.

As in our team there are both, native speakers and those who learned these languages as adults , we understand better than anyone the potential challenges adults are facing while learning Armenian, Georgian, and Azerbaijani.

We work mainly online, but sometimes you can meet us at conferences and events promoting the region.

What will you find in Języki Kaukazu?

Everything you need to make your learning easier:

We also publish the the Caucasus podcast , one of the few podcasts fully dedicated to this region. We are partners and speakers at numerous events promoting the region.

Meet our team

Hi, it’s Asia!

I have been simplifying the difficult things in Georgian for over 10 years now, and I have been learning the Caucasus for even longer. I run Georgian language courses and workshops.

Do you ever look at a Caucasian language and wonder if you'll ever master it? I've studied 14 languages myself (including 5 different alphabets!), so I completely understand your concerns and challenges.

Briefly about me:

  • Knowledge from the source: I studied in Georgia, published numerous scientific articles about the Caucasus and have been translating from Georgian, so I teach you a language that is alive and embedded in culture.
  • Experience: I have conducted over 1,500 hours of training and workshops – I know how to explain complexities in a simple way.
  • Passion you can hear: If you want to feel the atmosphere of the region before your first lesson, I invite you to the Caucasus podcast.

My goal at Języki Kaukazu is to shorten your path to fluency. I leverage my 10 years of experience as a business trainer and coach to ensure your lessons aren't just dry lectures, but effective communication training.

Hi, it's Marta!

I am from Poland and Bulgaria, and for almost a decade now I’ve been closely tied to Georgia, which has practically become my third home.

I graduated in ethnology and cultural anthropology, writing my master’s thesis on internally displaced people from Abkhazia. I’m also a biotechnologist, and conducted a research on Georgian tea. I show Georgia from different, not always typical perspectives on my IG Sakartveloved and FB Sakartveloved.

I’m an editor of the Slavic studies journal Smokiniata, where I occasionally write about Georgia. I also co-organized the last two editions of the Georgian Film Festival Gamardżoba Kino in Poland.

At Języki Kaukazu, I’m responsible for office administration and for getting things done.

Nana

In Języki Kaukazu I teach you Armenian.

I was born and raised in the Caucasus, a region with exceptional linguistic and cultural richness that shaped my identity from an early age. I grew up in a bilingual Armenian-Georgian environment, and my experiences in the USA, Italy, and Poland deepened my interest in languages and intercultural dialogue.

I've been living in Poland for five years. I graduated with a master's degree in intercultural communication from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University and am currently pursuing a doctoral degree in foreign language acquisition and intercultural communication.

My interests focus on linguistic and cultural adaptation, the role of the native language in the learning process, and the relationship between language and identity. Teaching and learning are a source of great satisfaction for me and an important element of my personal and professional development.
